St Helens tease further signing following squad numbers announcement
St Helens have teased a further signing ahead of the 2023 Super League season, leaving squad number 25 blank in their confirmed list.
Jon Bennison has been promoted to shirt number five, replacing Regan Grace who has joined French rugby union side Racing 92.
All other squad numbers 1-17 are unchanged from the 2022 campaign. James Roby will once again wear his famous number nine shirt for his 20th and final season with the club.
Konrad Hurrell retains the number 23, previously worn by other overseas stars in the recent era. There are a number of changes beyond shirt number 18 with Jake Wingfield (18) James Bell (19) Dan Norman (20) Ben Davies (21) and Sam Royle (22) all moving up in number from the 2022 season.
