Warrington 2023 squad numbers: Josh Drinkwater to wear 7
New signing Josh Drinkwater will wear the number seven shirt for Warrington in 2023, partnering England star George Williams in the halves.
The 31-year-old playmaker has penned a two-year deal with the Wolves, arriving from fellow Super League club Catalans Dragons.
Warrington coach Daryl Powell has given Drinkwater the number seven jersey. In the halves Drinkwater will link up with Williams, who will wear six. Also in the spine are Matt Dufty and Daryl Clark, who will wear one and nine respectively.
Stefan Ratchford, who has been Warrington’s number one for many years, looks set for a positional switch in 2023 after being given the number four.
The Wolves have made several signings in the forwards ahead of next year. Paul Vaughan, who has represented Australia and Italy, will wear 10.
Rising star Matty Nicholson, who arrived midway through last season from rivals Wigan, will don the 12 jersey.
Former Australia and Samoa international Josh McGuire has received the 13 shirt.

Young forward Ellis Longstaff, who has been loaned out to Salford for the season, has been given the number 33.
