Barba faces drugs ban

Cronulla Sharks fullback Ben Barba is facing a 12-week suspension for alleged cocaine use, according to reports in Australia.

The Daily Telegraph has revealed that Barba tested positive for cocaine several days after starring for the Sharks in their grand final win over Melbourne.

It is the second time Barba has tested positive to recreational drugs. He is expected to be handed a 12-game ban next season.

Barba has spent time in rehab previously for a gambling addiction.
