Koukash focused on Salford

Marwan Koukash says he and his wife won’t be buying another rugby league club and are focused on the Salford Red Devils.

Koukash’s wife Mandy had been linked with a bid for the Bradford Bulls.

But the Salford owner told Red Devils supporters yesterday at a club open day that that won’t be happening.

“I promise we enter into this season in a great health, no drama, no tribunal’s, every player here is happy and excited,” he said.

“Myself and my wife have no desire to own any other club in this country only this club, with our supporters the Salford Red Devils.

“I want us to have The greatest squad, the happiest boys, the effort and the same desire as they showed in that Million pound game.

“We must and need to grow this club and have a stronger fanbase this will be an effort needed from everyone of us on and off the field.”
