Radford sets silverware goal
Lee Radford wants to ensure Hull FC‘s Challenge Cup win of 2016 is not a one-off and is planning more success next season.
The Black and Whites broke their Wembley hoodoo against Warrington.
But Hull FC‘s season fell away after that, failing to take out the League Leader’s title or make the Super League grand final.
Radford wants sustained success for his team in the future.
“The last time we won the Challenge Cup was in 2005 and, 10 years on, whatever promo we did, whatever dinner we wet to, they still showed footage of that,” he told The Yorkshire Post.
“Now, having won it again, our challenge as a club is to make sure it doesn’t take as long to do it again and that becomes a distant memory.
“We don’t want to be showing the 2016 footage 10 years down the ine as we’ve not done anything in between.
“That’s the goal.”
