Challenge Cup third round draw made
The Challenge Cup third round draw has been made, with 12 community clubs out to cause an upset and reach the fourth round.
The third round draw was held at Featherstone on Monday night in front of the BBC Sport and iPlayer cameras.
The 13 English clubs from the Championship enter the Challenge Cup at the third round stage. Widnes will travel down south to take on amateur side Wests Warriors.
Championship side Sheffield Eagles face a tough trip away to top community club Siddal, whilst Batley will host amateur Cumbrians Wath Brow Hornets.
Bradford-based community club West Bowling will head over to Championship outfit York, whilst Bradford Bulls will welcome amateur side York Acorn to Odsal.
Newcastle Thunder will travel to West Yorkshire to face community club Stanningley. League 1 side Hunslet will host Keighley.
There are three all-Championship ties in the third round – Featherstone v Halifax, London Broncos v Whitehaven and Barrow Raiders v Swinton Lions.
There is a mouth-watering amateur tie between Leigh Miners Rangers and Rochdale Mayfield at Twist Lane. The other all-amateur tie is between Westgate Common and Hunslet ARLFC.
St Helens-based community club Thatto Heath Crusaders will take on League 1 outfit North Wales Crusaders at home.
Orrell St James, based in Wigan, face League 1 club Midlands Hurricanes at home after defeating Dublin City Exiles in the second round.
