Catalans Dragons dealt triple injury blow to key men
Catalans suffered a triple injury blow to Mickael Goudemand, Ben Garcia and Tyrone May in their 32-22 defeat at Leeds.
Goudemand left the action in the latter stages of the first half for a head injury assessment.
The France international didn’t return to the action after failing his HIA, meaning he will also be unavailable for next Saturday’s home game against Castleford in Perpignan due to the return to play concussion protocol.
It comes as a blow to the Dragons and Goudemand, who has become a first team regular in recent years.
Captain Garcia will also be unavailable for the Castleford game after suffering a head knock.
Tyrone May blow
May suffering a serious-looking ankle injury that left him leaving Headingley in a protective boot.
The French club will be hoping it is nothing serious for the Samoa international, who has been in great form so far this season.

Leeds were the better team, admits Catalans boss
Catalans coach Steve McNamara admitted his side got what they deserved in the second half as they failed to build on their 22-8 advantage after the break.
McNamara said: “We were clearly the second best team in the second half.
“I could tell from the first tackle of the second half that we had lost momentum; and it snowballed from there.
“Our attacking was really poor, we lost speed in the ruck, and Leeds were a lot more direct; and put us on the back foot. The game became too quick for us and Leeds did a good job at exposing it.”
“The thing that is really important for us now is our reaction next week (against Castleford).
“Teams go through that and it’s part and parcel of the game. In previous weeks we have had things go our way and that’s sport, we’ve got to roll with it and the important thing is that response next week.”
