Batley loan O’Sullivan to Hunslet
Hunslet have confirmed that Batley prop forward Trae O’Sullivan has joined them on a month’s loan.
The front rower, originally from Coventry, has played 19 games for Coventry Bears, and has also spent time in the Leeds Rhinos’ junior set-up.
“We needed to act quickly to bring in a middle unit with size, as we already had Lewis Reed on the treatment table, and lost Michael Haley and Jack Coventry with hamstring tears during the game with Coventry Bears at the weekend,” said Hunslet director of rugby Darren Williams.
“Trae joins us on loan and he will certainly help fill the void and add some size to our front row.
“I would like to thank Paul Harrison (Batley Bulldogs chief executive) for facilitating this move quickly.”
