Hull’s Hadley loaned to Wakefield
Hull FC utility forward Dean Hadley has joined fellow Betfred Super League side Wakefield Trinity on a one-month loan deal.
The 24-year old, who has yet to feature for the Black and Whites this season, will spend the next month with Chris Chester’s side.
Hadley, who was handed the number 11 shirt ahead of the 2017 campaign, has been recovering from an injury sustained during pre-season which has kept him out of action.
Hull FC head coach Lee Radford said: “With Dean’s injury picked up in the last month, it’s put him behind the eight ball a little bit with regards to selection.
“With the Reserves only having two fixtures over the next month, going out for four games will hopefully get him the chance of some first-team football over the next four weeks, which will allow him to get some much-needed game time.”
Hull FC can also confirm that Brandon Westerman has joined Richard Horne’s Reserves team on trial.
Westerman, cousin of former Airlie Birds forward Joe, will link up with the Reserves as they prepare for their 2017 campaign.
He was released by Castleford Tigers in January and spent time on loan with York City Knights.
