Cas crush woeful Wigan
Castleford crushed Wigan by a record 50-point margin to leapfrog Hull FC at the top of the Super League table on Saturday.
The Tigers’ 54-4 success included nine tries, with Greg Minikin (above) bagging two for Daryl Powell’s team.
Castleford went into the game on the back of two defeats, but first half tries by Adam Milner, Michael Shenton, Matt Cook and Mike McMeeken set them on their way.
Sam Powell’s scored Wigan’s solitary reply.
Cas continued to dominate in the second half, with Minikin (2), Luke Gale, Grant Millington and Jake Webster crossing the line to secure a comfortable victory.
