NRL 2023 finals confirmed; Grand Final venue, date and time
The NRL top eight has been confirmed with the competition announcing the schedule for week one of the finals, with matches featuring in Brisbane, Sydney and Newcastle.
Back-to-back champions Penrith Panthers claimed the Minor Premiership with just six defeat all season. They narrowly claimed the title over Brisbane Broncos, who also finished the season on 42 points, on points difference.
Craig Bellamy’s Melbourne Storm finished third, with New Zealand Warriors in fourth position.
A win over rivals South Sydney Rabbitohs in the final round saw Sydney Roosters cement their place in the top eight despite a below-par season for Trent Robinson’s side.
Newcastle Knights, Cronulla Sharks and Canberra Raiders also claiming spots in the bottom four with week one of the finals locked in.
England international Dom Young finished the regular season with the second-most tries in the competition (23) after a stellar season, just one behind leader and Dolphins outside-back Jamayne Isaako.

The 2023 NRL Telstra Premiership Grand Final will take place at Accor Stadium on Sunday 1st October, with a 6:30pm kick-off (9:30am UK).
