Huby: We’re getting our rewards

Craig Huby says Wakefield are enjoying life towards the top end of the Super League table.

Trinity head into Friday’s game against Huddersfield fifth in the standings, just four points behind second-placed Salford, and Huby believes the team have plenty to look forward to.

“We’re very comfortable at the moment sat there in the top half of the league and all the boys are really happy and enjoying our rugby,” said Huby.

“Not a lot of people probably thought we would be anywhere near the position we’re in. I think that’s a credit to the coaching staff and all the boys. All the hard work we’ve all put in – it’s showing on the field and we’re getting our rewards.”

“As long as we take it game-by-game and keep enjoying the rugby we’re playing, then the top four is definitely within our reach.

“There’s only us out there on the field who can do that. As long as we keep working hard and keep ourselves grounded, it’ll be an enjoyable season.”
