Caton-Brown’s trio leads Trinity to victory

Mason Caton-Brown scored a hat-trick as Wakefield held off second-placed Salford in a great game at the AJ Bell Stadium on Sunday.

Reece Lyne (2) and Caton-Brown bagged tries as the visitors made a superb start, before Jake Bibby brought the Red Devils back into it.

Craig Kopzcak and another from Bibby put the hosts in front, but Caton-Brown restored Trinity’s lead.

Lama Tasi put Salford back ahead, before late tries from Caton-Brown and James Batchelor secured the points for Wakefield.
