Milton joins Eagles on loan

Sheffield Eagles have signed Hull KR forward George Milton on loan for the rest of the season.

Milton, who is able to play in the back row or at hooker, has linked up with the Eagles with immediate effect in a bid to gain valuable game time for the remainder of 2017, but will continue to train with Rovers.

As part of the arrangement, Milton will be ineligible to play against the Robins when the two teams compete in the Kingstone Press Championship next weekend.

Milton remains contracted to Rovers for the 2018 campaign after arriving at KCOM Craven Park on a two-year deal.
