Hall leaves Toronto for Leigh
Leigh Centurions have signed Craig Hall from Toronto Wolfpack on a two-year deal.
The 29-year-old has a lot of experience in Super League and has been a prolific try-scorer throughout his career.
Hall, son of former Hull KR and Great Britain star David Hall, started his career at Hull FC before joining rivals Hull Kingston Rovers in 2011.
The utility-back scored 42 tries and kicked 43 goals in four years with the Robins and he the joined Wakefield Trinity, where he scored 17 tries and kicked 41 goals in 40 games.
Hall joined Toronto Wolfpack ahead of the 2017 campaign and was a stand-out in League 1, scoring in every game he played as well as winning the League 1 Player of the Year award after scoring 25 tries and 171 goals as the Canadian club won promotion to the Championship.
And Centurions head coach Neil Jukes thinks Hall can add a lot to his side.
He said: “We’re delighted to have secured Craig’s services for the next two years. Craig comes with a wealth of experience and leadership qualities.
“His durability in his career to date has given him a wide range of knowledge and skill set to play extremely well in pretty much every back-line position, including the halves. His point scoring record reinforces that.
“He will start immediately with the boys this week and hit the ground running as our preparations for 2018 commence.”
