Australia have guaranteed their place in the quarter-finals and will play at the Darwin Stadium on Friday 17 November.

The winner of Saturday’s huge game between New Zealand and Tonga will finish first in Group B and the loser in second. The pair are already two from two each and the Kiwis will play at the Wellington Regional Stadium on Saturday 18 November while Tonga will play their quarter-final on the same day at Christchurch Stadium.

If the current Group A table doesn’t change, England would finish second and play their quarter-final at the Melbourne Rectangular Stadium on Sunday 19 November against the team who is currently top of Group C, which at the moment is Papua New Guinea.

The third-paced team in Group B, which will be the winner of Saturday’s clash between Samoa and Scotland, will meet the winners of Group A, which is currently Australia in the quarter-final.

Lebanon will qualify for the quarter-finals if France fail to beat England on Sunday, with the Cedars currently sitting in third place.

England, Lebanon, Fiji and Papua New Guinea can also seal their places in the quarter-finals this weekend with a win.
