Squad watch: Super League Round 1 team news, including TV coverage
After a long old off-season, Super League returns this week, with every game being televised this season for the first time ever.
Squad watch will be a staple feature at Love Rugby League this season, which includes all the squads as and when they are announced for every round.
Hull FC v Hull KR (Thursday, 8pm, Sky Sports Main Event, Arena)
Hull FC coach Tony Smith could hand out six debuts in Thursday night’s mouth-watering derby, with Fa’amanu Brown, Herman Ese’ese, Franklin Pele, Jayden Okunbor, Jack Asworth and Morgan Smith all named in his 21-man squad. Full-back Jack Walker is also in line to make his second debut for the Black and Whites.
However, Hull will be without Liam Tindall, Carlos Tuimavave and Brad Fash through injury, while Jake Trueman and Mitieli Vulikijapani continue their recovery from long-term injuries.
Meanwhile, Hull KR could have seven debutants on show in the Super League opener – Peta Hiku, Niall Evalds, Oliver Gildart, Jai Whitbread, Kelepi Tanginoa, Tyrone May and Joe Burgess. However, they will be without Sam Luckley and Matty Storton who are sidelined.
Robins boss Willie Peters has been complementary of Louix Gorman and Leo Tennison over the off-season, with the promising duo included in his 21-man squad for the derby.

Leeds Rhinos v Salford Red Devils (Friday, 8pm, Sky Sports Main Event, Action)
Leeds Rhinos boss Rohan Smith could give six players their debuts, with Lachlan Miller, Paul Momirovski, Matt Frawley, Brodie Croft, Andy Ackers and Mickael Goudemand all part of his side.
Rhinos pair James Bentley and Sam Lisone have both been cleared to return to action after injury, with Cameron Smith set to lead the side for the first time as captain.
Salford Red Devils coach Paul Rowley has named six potential debutants amongst his 21-man squad – Cade Cust, Joe Shorrocks, Matty Foster, Kai Morgan, Chris Hankinson and Nene Macdonald, with the latter set to face his former club for the first time.
Rowley has also selected reserves player Nathan Connell, who has recently been training with the Red Devils first team.

Leigh Leopards boss Lachlan Lam could give three players their debuts on Friday night, including superstar signing Matt Moylan. Ben McNamara and Owen Trout could also make their first appearances in a Leigh jersey.
Meanwhile, six potential debutants have been named in Ian Watson’s Huddersfield Giants squad in the shape of Adam Swift, Adam Clune, Jack Murchie, Tom Deakin, Elliot Wallis and Hugo Salabio.

Off-season signings Waqa Blake, Daryl Clark and Matt Whitley are set to make their debuts for St Helens in Friday night’s home opener.
Meanwhile, London Broncos boss Mike Eccles could hand out five debuts, with new recruits Lee Kershaw, Jack Campagnolo, Robbie Storey, Hakim Miloudi and Rhys Kennedy all named in the 21-man squad.

Castleford Tigers coach Craig Lingard has included seven potential debutants in his 21-man squad – Luke Hooley, Josh Simm, Sam Wood, Innes Senior, Elie El-Zakhem, Nixon Putt and Samy Kibula.
However, the Tigers will be without co-captain Paul McShane due to a hamstring injury.
As for Wigan Warriors, coach Matt Peet has named new signings Adam Keighran, Kruise Leeming and Luke Thompson in his squad to make the trip to the Jungle.
Experienced prop Mike Cooper is also set to play his first game since suffering a serious knee injury last April.

Catalans Dragons coach Steve McNamara could hand debuts to new recruits Theo Fages, Jayden Nikorima, Tariq Sims, Bayley Sironen, Chris Satae and Jordan Abdull.
The Dragons, however, will be without captain Ben Garcia due to a minor injury.
Warrington Wolves are set to welcome back Dream Team prop Paul Vaughan, with the former Australia and Italy international having served his four-match suspension.
Wire captain Stefan Ratchford is available having recovered from a calf issue, whilst Rodrick Tai, Matty Nicholson and Joe Bullock remain sidelined.
