Cardtracker: Every yellow and red card in Super League this season

Introducing Cardtracker, where Love Rugby League keeps a log of every yellow and red card shown in Super League this season.

1. Herman Ese’ese – Yellow (Round 1: Hull FC 0-22 Hull KR, high tackle)

Former New Zealand and Samoa powerhouse Ese’ese was sin-binned in the first half of his Hull FC debut against Hull KR for a high tackle on Kelepi Tanginoa.

2. Franklin Pele – Red (Round 1: Hull FC 0-22 Hull KR, swinging arm)

Another Hull FC debutant in the shape of Pele was sent off in the first half of their Super League opener against Hull KR for a swinging arm on Robins captain Elliot Minchella.

3. Matt Parcell – Yellow (Round 1: Hull FC 0-22 Hull KR, foul play)

Hull KR hooker Parcell was shown a yellow card for making contact with the head of Hull FC forward Ligi Sao when making a tackle in the season opener, being sent to the sin bin for what was deemed foul play.

4. Ligi Sao – Red (Round 1: Hull FC 0-22 Hull KR, retaliation)

Sao was then sent off for retaliating Parcell’s tackle with his knees, in which the latter was sin-binned for. Parcell’s yellow and Sao’s red came in the final 10 minutes of the Super League opener, which KR won 22-0.

5. Ryan Brierley – Yellow (Round 1: Leeds 22-16 Salford, high tackle)

Salford full-back Brierley was sin-binned against Leeds in the opening round for a high tackle on his former team-mate Brodie Croft.

6. John Asiata – Yellow (Round 1: Leigh 8-16 Huddersfield, professional foul)

Leigh skipper Asiata was sent for 10 minutes by referee Jack Smith in their opening game of the campaign for a professional foul, preventing Adam Swift from crossing the line in an illegal manner.

7. Ricky Leutele – Yellow (Round 1: Leigh 8-16 Huddersfield, dangerous contact)

Just as Asiata returned to the field, team-mate Leutele was sin-binned for dangerous contact, catching Jake Connor in the air.

8. Paul Momirovski – Yellow (Round 1: Leeds 22-16 Salford, shoulder charge)

Australian centre Momirovski was sin-binned on his Leeds debut for what was deemed a shoulder charge on Salford back Chris Atkin.

9. Amir Bourouh – Yellow (Round 1: Leeds 22-16 Salford, holding down)

Salford hooker Bourouh was shown a yellow card at Headingley in Round 1 for holding down in a tackle.

10. Harry Smith – Yellow (Round 1: Castleford 4-32 Wigan, tip tackle)

Wigan half-back Smith was sin-binned for a tip tackle on Castleford full-back Luke Hooley in the opening round midway through the first half.

11. Liam Watts – Red (Round 1: Castleford 4-32 Wigan, contact with the head)

With Wigan still down to 12 temporarily, Castleford were reduced to 12 permanently after forward Watts made contact with the head in a tackle on Tyler Dupree.

12. Micky McIlorum – Red (Round 1: Catalans 16-10 Warrington, contact with the head)

Making it five of the six Round 1 games to have had at least one card in, Catalans saw veteran McIlorum dismissed for a high shot on Joe Philbin in their season opener in the south of France.

13. Jordan Crowther – Yellow (Round 1: Catalans 16-10 Warrington, contact with the head)

Towards the end of the opening round game at the Stade Gilbert Brutus, Warrington’s Crowther was sent for 10 minutes in the bin by referee Chris Kendall for alleged contact with the head.

14. Peta Hiku – Yellow (Round 2: Hull KR 22-12 Leeds, holding down)

KR full-back Hiku was sent to the sin-bin after holding down in the early stages of their game against Leeds, doing so having turned the ball over with an error close to his own line.

15. James Donaldson – Yellow (Round 2: Hull KR 22-12 Leeds, high tackle)

Rhinos stalwart Donaldson saw yellow from referee Jack Smith towards the end of the first half at Craven Park after a high shot on Oliver Gildart.

16. Sam Lisone – Yellow (Round 2: Hull KR 22-12 Leeds, high tackle)

Leeds also saw Lisone handed 10 minutes in the bin towards the end of their Round 2 clash at Craven Park after catching Robins captain Elliot Minchella with a high shot.

17. Fa’amanu Brown – Red (Round 2: Warrington 36-10 Hull FC, contact with the head)

It became three red cards in just under a game and a half for Hull when another of their off-season NRL recruits in Brown was dismissed towards the end of the opening 40 at Warrington having made direct contact with Ben Currie’s head in a tackle.

18. Sam Powell – Yellow (Round 2: Warrington 36-10 Hull FC, high tackle)

Towards the end of the Round 2 clash at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, the numbers were evened back up for 10 minutes when veteran Powell was sent to the sin-bin for a high shot on Hull full-back Jack Walker.

19. Daryl Clark – Yellow (Round 2: Huddersfield 0-28 St Helens, professional foul)

Saints’ number nine, Clark, was sin-binned in the second half of Saints’ win at the John Smith’s Stadium for an obstruction.

20. Jack Ormondroyd – Yellow (Round 2: Salford 26-22 Castleford, late hit)

Salford were reduced to 12 with circa 15 minutes remaining in their home opener with Ormondroyd sin-binned for a late – and high – hit on Cas’ Jacob Miller after a kick.

21. Kallum Watkins – Yellow (Round 2: Salford 26-22 Castleford, holding down)

Just as they returned to a full complement, Salford went back down to 12 for the last minute or so of the Round 2 clash, veteran Watkins sin-binned for holding a Tigers ace down as the visitors pressed for a try which would have levelled the scores with a kick to come.

22. John Asiata – Yellow (Round 3: St Helens 12-4 Leigh, dangerous tackle)

Just 41 seconds into their Round 3 clash with St Helens, Leigh skipper Asiata was sin-binned for a dangerous tackle on Sione Mata’utia.

23. Adam Milner – Yellow (Round 3: Wigan 30-16 Huddersfield, high tackle)

Huddersfield hooker Milner was shown a yellow card for a high shot on Tyler Dupree in the early stages of the Giants’ trip to face Wigan Warriors.

24. Adam Keighran – Yellow (Round 3: Wigan 30-16 Huddersfield, throwing ball away)

On the stroke of half-time in Wigan’s game with Huddersfield, centre Keighran was shown a yellow card for throwing the ball away at the end of a Warriors set.

25. Brad Dwyer – Yellow (Round 3: St Helens 12-4 Leigh, professional foul)

Dwyer’s Leigh debut ended with a yellow card after he held Lewis Dodd down when the Saints half-back tried to produce a quick play-the-ball.

26. Tariq Sims – Yellow (Round 3: Leeds 18-10 Catalans, contact to the head)

Catalans powerhouse Sims was sent to the sin bin for making contact to the head of Harry Newman, who was awarded an eight-point try in the act of scoring.

27. Justin Sangare – Yellow (Round 3: Leeds 18-10 Catalans, contact to the head)

Leeds prop Sangare was shown a yellow card for making contact to the head with a high tackle on Catalans hooker Alrix Da Costa in the second half.

28. Jordan Dezaria – Yellow (Round 3: Leeds 18-10 Catalans, contact to the head)

Dragons prop Dezaria was sent to the sin bin on the hour mark for making contact to the head of Leeds half-back Brodie Croft.

29. Romain Navarrete – Yellow (Round 3: Leeds 18-10 Catalans, professional foul)

Catalans forward Navarrete was sin-binned in the closing stages at Headingley for interference at the play-the-ball when defending his own line.

30. Deon Cross – Yellow (Round 3: Salford 17-10 Hull KR, professional foul)

Salford winger Cross was sin-binned in the second half of their clash with Hull KR for holding Joe Burgess back when trying to take a quick 20-metre tap.

31. Peta Hiku – Yellow (Round 3: Salford 17-10 Hull KR, dissent)

Hull KR back Hiku was sent to the sin bin for dissent after conceding a penalty on the hour mark against Salford.

32. Matty Russell – Yellow (Round 3: Hull FC 28-24 London, contact to the head)

Hull FC loanee Russell was sent to the sin bin for a high tackle on Oli Leyland, making contact with the head of the London full-back.

33. Gareth O’Brien – Yellow (Round 4: Leigh 16-22 Leeds, professional foul)

Veteran Leopards back O’Brien was sent for 10 minutes in the bin midway through the second half after he’d halted a quick Rhinos charge up the field, intentionally slowing the play down.

34. Mark Percival – Red (Round 4: St Helens 20-24 Salford, dangerous hit on passer)

Saints stalwart Percival was sent off early on into the second half of the Round 4 clash at the Totally Wicked Stadium after a late hit on Jack Ormondroyd.

35. Justin Sangare – Yellow (Round 4: Leigh 16-22 Leeds, late hit on passer)

Rhinos forward Sangare sat out the final few minutes at the Leigh Sports Village after a late hit on Tom Amone.

36. Rob Butler – Yellow (Round 4: London 22-60 Wigan, tip tackle)

London forward Butler was sent to the sin-bin by referee James Vella for a ‘tip’ on Tyler Dupree early on in the second half, lifting the Warriors forward’s leg while in a tackle.

37. Jack Ashworth – Yellow (Round 4: Catalans 26-12 Hull FC, head-on-head contact)

The Black and Whites were reduced to 12 in the closing stages of their Round 4 clash in Perpignan following Ashworth’s head-on-head contact with former FC man Chris Satae.

38. Harry Smith – Yellow (Round 5: Salford 12-22 Wigan, professional foul)

Wigan were reduced to 12 for the final 10 minutes at the Salford Stadium when Smith pulled back Ryan Brierley to prevent the Red Devils back from getting to the ball for a potential try.

39. Franklin Pele – Yellow (Round 5: Hull FC 4-54 Leigh, late hit)

Fresh from having served his three-match suspension, Pele was sent to the sin bin in the first half against Leigh for a late hit on Leigh hooker Brad Dwyer.

40. Tyler Dupree – Yellow (Round 6: St Helens 12-4 Wigan, leading with forearm)

Wigan prop Dupree was sin-binned for leading with his forearm in a carry against St Helens counterpart Matty Lees in their Good Friday defeat.

41. Liam Byrne – Red (Round 6: St Helens 12-4 Wigan, high tackle)

Team-mate Byrne was then sent off in the second half of their Good Friday defeat to St Helens for a high tackle on St Helens centre Mark Percival.

42. Paul Vaughan – Yellow (Round 6: Warrington 24-32 Catalans, high tackle)

Warrington prop Vaughan was shown a yellow in the early stages of their Rivals Round defeat to Catalans for a high tackle on Cesar Rouge.

43. Lachlan Lam – Yellow (Round 6: Salford 32-22 Leigh, professional foul)

Leigh lost half-back Lam for 10 minutes later the same day in the first half at Salford after he pulled Ryan Brierley back to stop the Red Devils man in his tracks as he tried to get to Marc Sneyd’s dabbed kick through.

44. Ryan Brierley – Yellow (Round 6: Salford 32-22 Leigh, professional foul)

The tables turned with 23 seconds remaining in the first half at the Salford Community Stadium, with Brierley sin-binned for a push off the ball on Umyla Hanley, also trying to get to a kick through and ground it.

45. Matt Moylan – Yellow (Round 7: Leigh 12-40 Wigan, contact with the head)

In the first of the Round 7 clashes, Leigh playmaker Moylan saw yellow from referee Jack Smith after making contact in a tackle with Jai Field’s head.

46. Sam Luckley – Yellow (Round 7: Hull KR 50-10 London, tip tackle)

Luckley was sin-binned within two minutes of their victory against London in Round 7, sent for 10 minutes having tipped a Broncos man in a tackle.

47. Amir Bourouh – Yellow (Round 7: Castleford 36-24 Salford, tip tackle)

Salford hooker Bourouh was sin-binned in their defeat at Castleford for a tip tackle on Alex Mellor in the first half.

48. Jack Brown – Yellow (Round 7: Hull FC 22-56 Huddersfield, dangerous tackle)

With two minutes of the first half remaining at the MKM Stadium, Brown was sin-binned for what was deemed a dangerous tackle on Huddersfield’s Harry Rushton.

49. Ligi Sao – Yellow (Round 7: Hull FC 22-56 Huddersfield, late contact)

Hull saw a second man sat down for 10 minutes in the same Round 7 game as Sao made late contact with ex-FC ace Jake Connor in a tackle on the hour-mark.

50. Ligi Sao – Yellow (Round 7: Hull FC 22-56 Huddersfield, high tackle)

With two and a half minutes remaining at the end of the second half, Sao was sent to the sin-bin for a second time in the same game against Huddersfield, this time for a high tackle on Olly Wilson.

51. Luke Yates – Yellow (Round 8: Leeds 24-30 Huddersfield, high tackle)

Just before the half-hour mark at Headingley, Huddersfield forward Yates was sent for 10 minutes in the bin for a high shot on Rhinos ace Luis Roberts following input from the video referee.

52. Lachlan Miller – Yellow (Round 8: Leeds 24-30 Huddersfield, dissent)

In the dying seconds of Leeds’ Round 8 defeat, Miller was shown a yellow card by referee Chris Kendall for something he’d said to the match official in the wake of a decision which went against the Rhinos.

53. Will Lovell – Yellow (Round 8: London 4-12 Salford, dangerous tackle)

Broncos captain Lovell was sent to the sin bin for a dangerous tackle on Salford centre Tim Lafai.

54. King Vuniyayawa – Red (Round 8: London 4-12 Salford, tip tackle)

Salford powerhouse Vuniyayawa was shown red in the capital after circa 55 minutes of their Round 8 clash with London. He got involved as the third man in a tackle and tipped Broncos ace Marcus Stock onto his head, endangering the opponent.

55. Matty Storton – Yellow (Round 8: Catalans 36-6 Hull KR, high tackle)

Later the same day, at around the same time in the game, KR saw Storton sin-binned by referee Jack Smith for a high shot on Dragons ace Tom Johnstone.

56. Ryan Brierley – Yellow (Round 10: Huddersfield 16-18 Salford, high tackle)

Salford full-back Brierley was sent to the sin bin for a high tackle on Huddersfield centre Esan Marsters with just a few minutes of the first half remaining at the John Smith’s Stadium.

57. Elliot Wallis – Red (Round 10: Huddersfield 16-18 Salford, violent conduct)

On the hour-mark in the same game, Huddersfield winger Wallis was sent off having put his head in the direction of Salford centre Tim Lafai after a coming together, deemed a headbutt by the officials.

58. Chris Atkin – Yellow (Round 10: Huddersfield 16-18 Salford, professional foul)

The cards weren’t done there in the Round 10 clash, with Salford playmaker Atkin sin-binned just a few minutes later for a professional foul in a Huddersfield kick chase.

59. Morgan Knowles – Yellow (Round 10: Hull KR 40-20 St Helens, high tackle)

Saints forward Knowles was shown yellow in the first half at Craven Park following a high shot on KR’s Jai Whitbread.

60. Tommy Makinson – Red (Round 11: Castleford 4-60 St Helens, late hit on passer)

Veteran Saints winger Makinson was dismissed in the opening quarter-of-an-hour at The Jungle for a late hit on Tex Hoy with the officials deeming there wasn’t enough mitigating factors to lower the punishment.

61. Liam Horne – Red (Round 11: Castleford 4-60 St Helens, dangerous tackle)

Castleford hooker Horne was then given his marching orders in the same game early on in the second half for a dangerous tip tackle on St Helens forward James Bell.

62. Liam Byrne – Yellow (Round 11: Huddersfield 6-48 Wigan, high tackle)

Wigan’s Byrne was sin-binned having been penalised for a high shot on Huddersfield’s Matty English with the very first tackle of the game.

63. Esan Marsters – Yellow (Round 11: Huddersfield 6-48 Wigan, trip)

Giants centre Marsters spent the last eight minutes or so off the field having stopped a charge forward from Wigan by tripping Bevan French.

64. Jordan Lane – Yellow (Round 11: London 34-18 Hull FC, late hit)

Hull forward Jordan Lane was sent to the sin bin for a late hit on London hooker Ugo Tison during the Round 11 clash in the capital.

65. Olly Russell – Yellow (Round 12: Huddersfield 10-16 Leigh, high tackle)

On his return to the Giants side, Russell was given 10 minutes in the bin by referee James Vella during the first half of the Round 12 clash for a high tackle on Leigh’s Ed Chamberlain

66. Ed Chamberlain – Yellow (Round 12: Huddersfield 10-16 Leigh, interference)

Minutes later, it was 12 v 12 as Chamberlain himself was shown a yellow card by referee Vella, appearing to be the man penalised for the Leopards repeatedly interfering in the ruck.

67. Frankie Halton – Yellow (Round 12: Huddersfield 10-16 Leigh, late hit on passer)

Before the first half had come to an end at the John Smith’s Stadium, just as Russell returned to the field, it became 13 v 11 as Halton was sin-binned for a late hit on Adam Clune.

68. Brad Dwyer – Yellow (Round 12: Huddersfield 10-16 Leigh, trip)

There was a fourth yellow card in the same Round 12 clash with three-and-a-half minutes remaining with Leigh hooker Dwyer penalised for a trip on Adam Clune.

69. Tom Davies – Yellow (Round 12: Catalans 8-16 Warrington, professional foul)

Just prior to the midway point in the first half in Perpignan, Davies was sin-binned having held Josh Thewlis down to stop him playing the ball as Warrington broke forward following the winger’s interception at the other end of the field.

70. Lachlan Fitzgibbon – Yellow (Round 12: Catalans 8-16 Warrington, high tackle)

As Davies returned from the sin-bin, Warrington forward Fitzgibbon went into it for a high shot on Catalans’ Arthur Mourgue, seeing the Wolves play out the final 10 minutes of the first half a man down.

71. Franck Maria – Yellow (Round 13: St Helens 24-12 Catalans, high tackle)

The first card in Round 13 went the way of Catalans’ Maria, who was shown yellow for a high shot on Saints youngster George Delaney in the first half at the Totally Wicked Stadium.

72. Adam Keighran – Red (Round 13: Warrington 19-18 Wigan, high tackle)

Australian centre Keighran saw red from referee Jack Smith for what will go down as a high tackle, but is better described as a forearm smash on Warrington youngster Arron Lindop. Out of control and very much reckless, he will almost certainly miss the Challenge Cup final as a result, and possibly more games beyond that.

73. Cain Robb – Yellow (Round 14: Castleford 8-10 Wigan, high tackle)

Castleford youngster Robb was sin-binned in the second half of their Round 14 defeat to Wigan for a high tackle on Warriors winger Abbas Miski.

74. Andre Savelio – Red (Round 14: Hull KR 32-6 Huddersfield, deliberate foul play)

Huddersfield forward Savelio was sent off on his debut for the Giants following a melee in the ruck involving Hull KR half-back Mikey Lewis. His red card was officially for ‘deliberate foul play’ against Robins captain Elliot Minchella.

75. Tom Briscoe – Yellow (Round 14: Hull FC 18-10 Leeds, professional foul)

Veteran Hull winger Briscoe was sin-binned in the latter stages of their win over Leeds for a professional foul in the 71st minute.

76. Emmanuel Waine – Yellow (Round 15: Wigan 36-0 London, dangerous contact)

Papua New Guinea international Waine was sin-binned during London’s clash with Wigan for dangerous contact on Warriors hooker Kruise Leeming.

77. Adam Holroyd – Yellow (Round 15: Hull FC 18-24 Warrington, high tackle)

Warrington young gun Holroyd was shown yellow by referee Ben Thaler on the half-hour mark at the MKM Stadium following a high shot on Hull’s Logan Moy.

78. Robbie Mulhern – Yellow (Round 16: Wigan 24-6 Leigh, late hit)

Leigh prop Mulhern was shown a yellow card for a late hit on Wigan counterpart Kaide Ellis in the first half at The Brick Community Stadium.

79. Brad O’Neill – Yellow (Round 16: Wigan 24-6 Leigh, tip tackle)

Later on in the first half, Wigan hooker O’Neill was then sent f0r 10 minutes off the field against hometown club Leigh for a tip tackle on Robbie Mulhern, who had only just returned from the sin bin himself.

80. Tom Briscoe – Yellow (Round 16: Salford 22-20 Hull FC, professional foul)

Hull winger Briscoe was sent to the sin bin for the second time in three games as the half-time hooter sounded against Salford, penalised having deliberately cut across Ryan Brierley to stop the Red Devils full-back getting to a loose ball.

81. George Williams – Yellow (Round 17: Warrington 30-18 Leeds, high tackle)

Warrington half-back Williams was sent to the sin-bin by referee Jack Smith on the 50-minute mark for a high shot on Leeds hooker Andy Ackers.

82. Matty Ashton – Yellow (Round 17: Warrington 30-18 Leeds, professional foul)

Warrington saw a second man sent to the sin-bin in the same game with six minutes remaining as Ashton held Leeds’ Sam Lisone down to stop him playing the ball when the Rhinos had broken down the field.

83. Matty Lees – Yellow (Round 17: Wigan 16-12 St Helens, contact with the head)

Within 50 seconds of the derby at The Brick Community Stadium, Saints were down to 12 after forward Lees made contact with the head of Wigan counterpart Kaide Ellis in a tackle, resulting in a sin-bin.

84. Elliot Minchella – Yellow (Round 17: Hull FC 10-24 Hull KR, continued offences)

With 37 minutes on the clock in the Hull derby, KR captain Minchella was sent to the sin-bin by referee Chris Kendall for continually being involved in fracases having been warned on multiple occasions.

85. Brad Fash – Yellow (Round 17: Hull FC 10-24 Hull KR, continued offences)

Acting FC captain Fash was also sent for 10 minutes in the bin at the same time by Kendall for the same offence(s). The two skippers had clashed on numerous occasions throughout the first half, and sparked another fracas after a penalty was awarded close to the Robins’ try-line.

86. Joe Burgess – Yellow (Round 17: Hull FC 10-24 Hull KR, delaying the play of the ball)

Shortly after the two captains had returned to the field, KR returned to 12 men when winger Burgess was shown a yellow card for delaying the play of the ball as opposite number Tom Briscoe looked to make a quick tap restart.

87. Chris Hill – Yellow (Round 17: Leigh 20-16 Huddersfield, melee)

In similar circumstances to Minchella & Fash, Huddersfield prop Hill & Leigh forward Jack Hughes were both sent to the sin-bin just before the hour-mark in their Round 17 clash having been at the forefront of a melee.

88. Jack Hughes – Yellow (Round 17: Leigh 20-16 Huddersfield, melee)

As above.

89. Andre Savelio – Red (Round 17: Leigh 20-16 Huddersfield, shoulder charge)

Less than 10 minutes later, Huddersfield lost Savelio permanently as he received his marching orders – for the second time in just four Giants appearances – for a shoulder charge on Robbie Mulhern.

90. Denive Balmforth – Yellow (Round 17: Hull FC 10-24 Hull KR, late hit on passer)

Young FC hooker Balmforth spent the final 10 minutes of the Hull derby in the sin-bin following a late hit on KR’s Mikey Lewis, with that the fourth yellow shown in the game.

91. James Harrison – Red (Round 18: St Helens 10-24 Warrington, contact with the head)

Warrington forward Harrison saw red from referee Chris Kendall 20 minutes in at the Totally Wicked Stadium having caught young Saints prop Noah Stephens’ head with his shoulder in a tackle.

92. Brad Singleton – Yellow (Round 18: Huddersfield 16-8 Salford, offence unknown)

With 11 minutes remaining at the John Smith’s Stadium, Salford prop Singleton was sin-binned for an offence right in front of their own sticks.

93. Matty Nicholson – Yellow (Round 18: St Helens 10-24 Warrington, professional foul)

Just before the hour-mark, Warrington were temporarily reduced to 11 away against Saints after Nicholson tugged Noah Stephens back as he went to ground a try. There wasn’t enough evidence to award a penalty try, but the foul brought a yellow card.

94. Sadiq Adebiyi – Yellow (Round 18: Leigh 36-6 London, late hit on passer)

London forward Adebiyi was sin-binned during the second half of their Round 18 defeat at Leigh having caught Leopards ace Gareth O’Brien late.

95. Tyler Dupree – Yellow (Round 18: Hull FC 24-22 Wigan, dangerous tackle)

Wigan prop Dupree was sin-binned for lifting the leg of Ed Chamberlain in a tackle during the first half of the Round 18 clash, putting the Hull centre in a dangerous position in the process.

96. Davy Litten – Yellow (Round 18: Hull FC 24-22 Wigan, high tackle)

Hull ace Litten missed the last eight minutes or so of their victory against Wigan having halted a break from Warriors youngster Jack Farrimond with a high tackle.

97. Sam Lisone – Yellow (Round 19: Huddersfield 6-34 Leeds, fracas)

98. Adam Milner – Yellow (Round 19: Huddersfield 6-34 Leeds, fracas)

Giants hooker Milner followed Lisone into the sin-bin for his part in the fracas following Lachlan Miller’s late try, leaving the Round 19 clash to end with each side down to 12.

99. Mark Percival – Yellow (Round 19: Leigh 46-4 St Helens, late hit)

St Helens centre Percival was sin-binned for a late hit off-the-ball on Leigh full-back Matt Moylan in the first half of the Round 19 clash.

100. Jonny Lomax – Yellow (Round 19: Leigh 46-4 St Helens, late hit)

Saints were reduced to 12 for the second time at the Leopards’ Den as skipper Lomax was shown a yellow for a late tackle on Leigh’s Gareth O’Brien midway through the second half.

101. Matt Dufty – Yellow (Round 19: Wigan 4-40 Warrington, tip tackle)

Full-back Dufty spent the last few minutes of Warrington’s win at Wigan in the sin-bin for what was deemed a tip tackle on Warriors winger Liam Marshall, who was breaking upfield.

102. Liam Horne – Yellow (Round 19: Salford 30-22 Castleford, late hit)

Tigers hooker Horne was sent to the sin-bin just after the half-hour mark at the Salford Community Stadium for a late hit on Red Devils forward Ollie Partington.

103. Sylvester Namo – Yellow (Round 19: Salford 30-22 Castleford, late hit)

Just after the hour-mark, Castleford went down to 12 men for the second time in the same game as Papua New Guinean forward Namo caught Partington with a high tackle, making contact with the Salford man’s head as he did so.

104. Tariq Sims – Red (Round 19: Catalans 24-16 Hull FC, swinging arm and interference with injured player)

Less than nine minutes into the Round 19 clash in Perpignan, Catalans saw forward Tariq sims sent off for a combination of a swinging arm on Hull centre Ed Chamberlain and picking the Ireland international up when injured on the ground.

105. Ligi Sao – Red (Round 19: Catalans 24-16 Hull FC, swinging arm)

The numbers were evened up seven minutes later at the Stade Gilbert Brutus when Hull forward Sao was dismissed by referee Liam Rush having caught the returning Sam Tomkins with a swinging arm after the Catalans full-back had caught a high bomb.

106. Sylvester Namo – Yellow (Round 20: Castleford 10-20 Leigh, tip tackle)

Penalised for a tip tackle on Leigh’s Owen Trout, Castleford forward Namo was sin-binned late on at The Jungle in Round 20, sitting out the last two minutes or so.

107. Brad Fash – Yellow (Round 20: Hull FC 6-46 St Helens, late hit)

Hull FC forward Fash was sent to the sin-bin for a late hit on St Helens counterpart James Bell in the Round 20 clash at the MKM Stadium.

108. Tim Lafai – Yellow (Round 20: Salford 22-16 Leeds, high tackle)

Salford centre Lafai was shown a yellow card for a high tackle on Leeds full-back Lachlan Miller just two minutes into their meeting in Round 20.

109. Rhyse Martin – Yellow (Round 20: Salford 22-16 Leeds, professional foul)

Leeds forward Martin was sent to the sin-bin for a professional foul during their defeat at Salford, holding onto Jayden Nikorima for too long in the tackle.

110. James Bentley – Yellow (Round 20: Salford 22-16 Leeds, high tackle)

Rhinos back-rower Bentley was also sent for 10 minutes, the third man sin-binned in the same game, for a high tackle on Red Devils utility Joe Shorrocks at the Salford Community Stadium.

111. Jack Hughes – Yellow (Round 2: Wigan 28-6 Leigh, high tackle)

Leigh ace Hughes, playing in the halves, was sin-binned seven minutes into the rescheduled ‘Battle of the Borough’ clash for a high shot on Wigan hooker Kruise Leeming.

112. Joe Shorrocks – Yellow (Round 21: St Helens 17-16 Salford, professional foul)

Just before the 20-minute mark at the Totally Wicked Stadium, Salford man Shorrocks was shown yellow by referee Chris Kendall for a professional foul, tugging at the shirt of Daryl Clark to stop the Saints hooker getting to and receiving the ball as the hosts broke away downfield.

113. Morgan Knowles – Yellow (Round 21: St Helens 17-16 Salford, swinging arm)

With 68 minutes on the clock, Saints had forward Knowles sin-binned after catching Salford’s Joe Mellor with a swinging arm close to the sticks.

114. Joe Batchelor – Yellow (Round 21: St Helens 17-16 Salford, contact off the ball)

Not even 60 seconds later, team-mate Batchelor followed Knowles into the sin-bin for some contact off the ball with Red Devils ace Loghan Lewis.

And having played a big part in the melee which ensued after that offence from Batchelor, Salford’s Partington was sat down for 10 minutes by Kendall for dissent.

Just after the half-hour mark at the John Smith’s Stadium, Catalans forward Bousquet made contact with the head of Huddersfield hooker Adam Milner, and after the Giants man went off for a HIA, the Dragons ace was sin-binned.

Castleford back-rower Putt was sent to the sin-bin two minutes into the second half at Craven Park after a tip tackle on KR centre Peta Hiku.

118. Sauaso ‘Jesse’ Sue – Yellow (Round 21: Hull KR 36-6 Castleford, dissent)

KR forward Sue followed Putt into the bin just a few minutes later for dissent.

119. Matt Ikuvalu – Yellow (Round 21: Huddersfield 22-23 Catalans, high tackle)

Catalans had to play the last three minutes of the Round 21 clash a man down after centre Ikuvalu caught Huddersfield winger Sam Halsall with a high shot.

120. Adam Keighran – Yellow (Round 21: Leeds 30-4 Wigan, repeat offences)

Wigan centre Keighran was sin-binned for repeated offences on the hour-mark during their defeat at Leeds in Round 21.

121. Harry Smith – Red (Round 21: Leeds 30-4 Wigan, leading with the forearm)

Wigan half-back Smith was sent off for leading with the forearm on Leeds back-rower James Bentley in the closing minutes of the Warriors’ defeat at Headingley.

122. Will Gardiner – Yellow (Round 21: Leigh 42-12 Hull FC, repeat offences)

Hull youngster Gardiner was shown yellow by Jack Smith just before the midway mark in the first half at the Leigh Sports Village, the FC player penalised for a collective amount of repeat offences as a team. He had held a Leopards player down in the tackle.

123. Darnell McIntosh – Yellow (Round 21: Leigh 42-12 Hull FC, tip tackle)

With three minutes left of the first half, Leigh back McIntosh was sin-binned against his former club for a tip tackle on Lewis Martin.

124. Owen Trout – Yellow (Round 21: Leigh 42-12 Hull FC, contact with the head)

The third yellow of the same game came midway through the second half at the LSV as Leigh forward Trout was sin-binned for making contact with the head of Yusuf Aydin, with the Hull man requiring a HIA.

125. Denive Balmforth – Yellow (Round 22: Hull FC 4-29 London, late hit)

The Hull hooker was sin-binned for a late shot on London hooker Ugo Tison in the final seconds of the Magic Weekend opener.

126. Kaide Ellis – Yellow (Round 22: Wigan 20-0 St Helens, contact with the head)

There was also a yellow card in the second game of day one at Magic Weekend, with Wigan’s stand-in skipper Ellis sent to the sin-bin having made contact with the head of Joe Batchelor in a tackle.

127. David Fusitu’a – Yellow (Round 22: Leeds 24-6 Warrington, tackle off the ball)

Leeds winger Fusitu’a made it three yellows in as many games on the opening day of Magic Weekend as he was sin-binned in the second half of their clash with Warrington for a tackle off the ball on Wire counterpart Matty Ashton.

128. Rodrick Tai – Yellow (Round 22: Leeds 24-6 Warrington, melee)

After a couple of flare ups between the two sides in the second half at Elland Road, Warrington’s Papua New Guinean ace Tai paid the price with a yellow card for his leading role in sparking another melee.

129. Sam Lisone – Yellow (Round 22: Leeds 24-6 Warrington, melee)

Rhinos forward Lisone also saw yellow from referee Chris Kendall at the same time for the same offence, with his break with the ball once the whistle had sounded being the incident which sparked Tai’s involvement and the subsequent melee.

130. Ethan Ryan – Yellow (Round 22: Leigh 26-0 Salford, high tackle)

Within 15 minutes on day two at Magic Weekend, there’d been another card shown with Salford winger Ryan seeing yellow for a high shot on Leigh centre Ricky Leutele.

131. Brad Singleton – Yellow (Round 22: Leigh 26-0 Salford, high tackle)

And just a few minutes later, Ryan’s Salford team-mate Singleton followed him into the sin-bin for a flailing arm which caught Leigh back Gareth O’Brien high.

Huddersfield half-back Lolohea was sent for 10 minutes in the first half of their Magic Weekend clash for a high tackle on Castleford’s Jacob Miller.

Huddersfield had a second sin-bin in the same game when young forward Rogers was shown yellow in the second half of their Magic Weekend clash for a high shot on Castleford counterpart Sylvester Namo.

134. Luke Yates – Yellow (Round 23: Castleford 6-28 Warrington, high tackle)

Warrington forward Yates saw yellow from referee Tom Grant within the opening quarter-of-an-hour at The Jungle after catching Castleford counterpart Liam Watts with a high shot.

135. Waqa Blake – Yellow (Round 23: St Helens 6-42 Hull KR, high tackle)

St Helens back Blake was sin-binned for a high shot on Mikey Lewis in the early stages of their heavy defeat to Hull KR in Round 23.

136. Tommy Makinson – Red (Round 23: St Helens 6-42 Hull KR, high tackle)

Saints stalwart Makinson was then shown a red card for a high tackle on Hull KR half-back Tyrone May in the closing stages of that Round 23 defeat.

Huddersfield forward Savelio was sin-binned for a high tackle on Loghan Lewis in the first half of their heavy defeat at the Salford Community Stadium.

Giants half-back Russell was then sent for 10 minutes for a professional foul in the second half of their defeat at Salford, punished for holding down Nene Macdonald.

Wigan prop Mago was sent to the sin-bin for a late hit on Jack Ashworth 66 minutes into their win against Hull at The Brick Community Stadium.

Leigh captain Asiata was shown yellow by referee Jack Smith for a late hit on the passer just before the half-hour mark during their win in the capital.

A few minutes later at Plough Lane, it went to 12 v 12 as London prop Butler was sin-binned for a late tackle on Edwin Ipape which sparked a melee.

Warrington prop Vaughan was dismissed just 11 minutes in against Leigh for making direct contact to the head of Leopards prop Owen Trout with his shoulder.

The third yellow card in the same game was shown to Hull forward Aydin, who was sent to the sin-bin for ‘late and dangerous contact’ just after the hour-mark.

Later in the day over in Perpignan, Wigan hooker Leeming was sent for 10 minutes for repeated offences in the latter stages of their victory against Catalans.

In the last game of Round 24, young Huddersfield forward Rogers saw red late on in the first half for making contact with the head of Saints’ Tee Ritson in a ‘reckless and dangerous manner’.

Visitors Saints spent the last nine minutes down to 12 at the John Smith’s Stadium after young forward Stephens was sin-binned for delaying the restart after team-mate Sione Mata’utia had knocked on.

With just a few minutes left at Headingley, Hull forward Cartwright was shown a yellow card for the second time in the same game. This one was for holding down in the tackle.

Warrington back-rower Fitzgibbon was deemed to have made contact with the head Saints winger Tee Ritson in a tackle early on at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, and saw yellow from referee Chris Kendall as a result.

157. Matty Lees – Yellow (Round 25: Warrington 16-2 St Helens, late hit)

With Wire still down to 12, the numbers were evened up when Lees was sin-binned for a late hit on Warrington half-back Josh Drinkwater.

158. Josh Thewlis – Yellow (Round 25: Warrington 16-2 St Helens, professional foul)

Just as the final hooter sounded, hosts Warrington saw winger Josh Thewlis shown a yellow card for holding his opponent down in the tackle.

London captain Will Lovell was sent to the sin-bin with just a few minutes left of their Round 25 clash with Huddersfield at the John Smith’s Stadium for a late hit on Giants half-back Olly Russell.

Leigh centre Leutele was shown yellow by referee Liam Moore midway through the second half of their Round 27 clash following a big hit on Jack Welsby, deemed to have made contact with the head of the Saints full-back in the tackle.
