Featherstone seeking Women’s coach

Drew Darbyshire

Featherstone Rovers are on the lookout to appoint a new head coach ahead of the 2018 Women’s Super League campaign.

The Rovers’ ladies team appeared in the Grand Final and Challenge Cup Final last season after being one of the stand-out teams in 2016.

Four Featherstone players represented England in the women’s World Cup recently as they made it through to the semi-final stage before being knocked out by New Zealand.

And the club are now seeking a head coach for the Rovers team ahead of next year’s exciting inaugural season of the Women’s Super League.

Clubs such as Wigan Warriors, Widnes Vikings, Leeds Rhinos, St Helens and Hull FC have outline plans to compete in the competition, with several other clubs expected to join the league.

For more information, or to declare your interest in the vacant role, please call Rovers team manager Julie Hastwell on 07469720511.
