Wayne Bennett is set to be confirmed as England coach for the next two years, with Daryl Powell turning down an offer to join the national team set-up, according to The Guardian.
Warrington have vowed to take action against fans who caused trouble during the win at Widnes on Friday night. The Warrington Guardian had photos and videos from a smoke-filled concourse, with one also being thrown on to the pitch towards the end of the game.

Esteemed Australian journalist Steve Mascord is banging the drum for international rugby league and calling out the NRL for their apparent refusal to release players for the planned mid-season test between England and New Zealand in Denver, USA.
And if NRL won’t uphold RLIF bylaws by sanctioning clubs who refuse to release players, Australia should be suspended from international competition for a year.
