BBC to show Coventry and Distington Challenge Cup tie

The third-round Challenge Cup tie between Coventry Bears and Distington will be broadcast LIVE on the BBC Sport website.

Distington beat Queens and Lock Lane in the earlier rounds and are one of the lowest ranked sides left in the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup.

They will make a 460-mile round-trip to the Butts Park Arena on Sunday 25 February, 3pm kick-off.

League 1 outfit Coventry will face their first amateur team since entering the Challenge Cup in 2015.

The second-round tie between Featherstone Lions and Thatto Heath Crusaders attracted over 18,000 views on the BBC Sport website.

Rounds three to five will also be streamed live on the BBC Sport website before the competition reaches round six and beyond when matches will be screened on BBC One and BBC Two over each weekend.
