Richard Whiting and Richard Moore charged
Toronto’s Richard Whiting and Featherstone’s Richard Moore have pleaded guilty to Grade D charges.
Both cases were heard by an independent operational rules tribunal, consisting of HHJ Guy Kearl QC, Stuart Fielden and Andy Raleigh.
Whiting plead guilty but challenged the grading of a Grade D dangerous throw charge. The tribunal agreed and downgraded the charge to a Grade B. The Wolfpack back-rower is banned for one match and fined £250.
Moore plead guilty but challenged the grading of a Grade D striking charge. The tribunal dismissed the Rovers prop’s challenge of the grading and Moore is banned for four games and fined £250.
