Joel Tomkins returns for Wigan while Oliver Roberts and Jake Mamo ruled out for Huddersfield

Joel Tomkins is expected to return for Wigan on Friday night while Oliver Roberts and Jake Mamo have been ruled out with injuries for Huddersfield.

Tomkins has recovered from a swollen knee while Liam Marshall and Gabe Hamlin come into the squad after impressing for Wigan’s reserve side last weekend. They replace youngsters Craig Mullen and Callum Field in Shaun Wane’s side.

Rick Stone has been forced to make three changes to his 19-man squad that lost to Hull Kingston Rovers last week. Roberts and Mamo are injured while Tyler Dickinson drops out. Michael Lawrence, Adam Walne and Daniel Smith are back for the Giants.

The Super League game takes place at the DW Stadium on Friday, 8pm kick-off.
