Newcastle retain Jamaica international Mo Agoro
Newcastle have retained the services of winger Mo Agoro for 2019.
The 25-year-old, who has earned three caps for Jamaica, has agreed a new one-year deal with the League 1 club.
Agoro has made over 100 career appearances after starting out at Leeds Rhinos, before enjoying spells at Oldham, Hunslet and Gloucestershire All Golds.
Thunder coach Jason Payne said: “I’m delighted that Mo will stay with us next season, he really contributed to what was good about our game this season and he really showed his class.
“Mo is a natural try scorer and finisher but also very good defensively and he is a strong guy with plenty of pace, which makes him a real dynamic player with a bright future in the game and he is going to have a big role to play for the club next season.”
Agoro joins Jack Aldous, Jared Blanke, Keal Carlile, Rhys Clarke, Liam Finn, Sam Luckley, Remy Marginet, Liam McAvoy, Alex Rowe, Niall Sidney, Evan Simons, David Weetman and Lewis Young in the ranks for next season.
