2020 Magic Weekend cancelled
The 2020 Magic Weekend has been cancelled, Super League has revealed.
Initially due to be played on May 23 and 24 in Newcastle, it was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak with some hopes it would be played later in the year, but it now won’t form part of the revised Super League season.
However, the 2021 edition has been confirmed at St James’ Park on May 29 and 30.

Fans are able to claim refunds for tickets through the official Super League website, or receive a credit note to be used for any other 2020 and 2021 Super League or RFL ticketing event.
The 2020 season is due to resume on August 2, with the full season now comprising of 22 rounds ahead of a play-off series and Grand Final due to be completed in November.
