A few tasty ties in Challenge Cup fifth round

The Ladbrokes Challenge Cup fifth round draw took place last night and there are a number of appetising games to look forward to.

Wigan Warriors Women’s captain Gemma Walsh and St Helens Ladies’ Faye Gaskin conducted the draw at Media City, which was streamed LIVE on the BBC Sport website.

Betfred League 1 outfit York City Knights, who beat Betfred Championship side Swinton Lions in the fourth round, were rewarded with a home tie against Betfred Super League club Catalans Dragons.

Barrow Raiders will welcome Toronto Wolfpack to Craven Park in the fifth round. The last time the two sides met earlier this year, they drew 8-8.

Either Hunslet or Bradford Bulls will make a trip to 2016 Ladbrokes Challenge Cup finalists Warrington Wolves.

All ties will be played over the weekend of April 21-22.

A fifth round game will be streamed LIVE on the BBC Sport website, the fixture will be announced in due course.
