Adrian Lam wakes up in rainy Barcelona: “I thought I was in Hull!”
Wigan coach Adrian Lam said the Barcelona weather made him think of Hull when he woke up on Friday morning!
The Warriors flew out to Spain late Thursday and arrived at their accommodation in the early hours of Friday morning ahead of their Nou Camp clash with Catalans on Saturday.
Lam has also revealed that he will stick with the same 17 players that narrowly fell short to Warrington in the Challenge Cup last week.

Speaking to the press in Barcelona, Lam said: “I thought I was in Hull when I woke up this morning!
“It will be the same 17 playing. You are always looking to make sure you’ve got your thoughts on the right players and sometimes there are things you didn’t do, so it’s important for me and all the coaches to make sure we have the right players in the right place.
“This is the first week this year that we’ve had the same 17 for two weeks in a row so moving forward, if we can have the same 20 players then it’ll benefit the side.
“There’s competitions for players now. The players who pull on the jersey tomorrow at the biggest stadium have the pressure of holding their spot.”
The historic Nou Camp clash between Catalans and Wigan takes place on Saturday, 3:30pm (UK time) kick-off.
