Agnatius Paasi signs extended deal with New Zealand Warriors
Tonga international Agnatius Paasi has signed a new three-year contract with New Zealand Warriors.
The 27-year-old prop will remain at Mount Smart Stadium until at least the end of the 2022 campaign.
Paasi made his NRL debut for the Warriors in 2014, before enjoying three years at Gold Coast Titans.
Warriors coach Stephen Kearney commented: “Iggy has done a tremendous job for us since coming home.
“He has really developed not just as a first-choice player but also as a leader in our group.”
Paasi earned a cap for Tonga in 2014 and has recently been part of the New Zealand national squad, although he is yet to make an appearance for the Kiwis.
