Albert Kelly to play for Brisbane Broncos in trial match this weekend
Former Hull half-back Albert Kelly will play for Brisbane Broncos in a trial match this weekend.
The Broncos take on the Wynnum Manly Seagulls on Friday night at Kitchener Park.
A number of train and trial players who have been part of Brisbane’s pre-season camp will play on Friday, including Kelly, who was named in the Super League Dream Team in 2017.

Broncos coach Kevin Walters said: “Trials in recent years haven’t been so important but I feel this year with the limited trials that players have limited opportunity to be right for Round 1 when we take on Parramatta.
“Because of the season that the Broncos had last year, everyone is fighting for positions – plenty of competition in the group which is what we want.”
Kelly has returned to Australia following five seasons in Super League with Hull KR and Hull FC.
