All Golds player hit with four-year doping ban

The RFL have confirmed that Daniel Spencer-Tonks of the Gloucestershire All Golds has been banned from rugby league for four years.

He has been found to be in breach of the RFL’s anti-doping regulations.

A statement from the RFL reads:

“Spencer-Tonks, 20, tested positive for metabolites of the exogenous anabolic androgenic steroid stanozolol following an out-of-competition test on February 17 2015.

“The suspension runs from February 17 2015 until February 16 2019.”
