Catalans hooker Alrix Da Costa has signed a new two-year deal with the club.

The 21-year-old will remain at the Stade Gilbert Brutus until the end of the 2021 campaign.

A France international, Da Costa has made 54 appearances for the Dragons since making his professional debut in 2016.

Da Costa commented: “I’m delighted to sign a new contract with the Dragons.

“I love the club, I’m glad to be a part of it and of this squad.

“The club is moving forward every year and I want to help the Dragons to win their first Super League trophy.

“I’m looking forward to continue my development as a player and as a man and I would like to thank the staff, the players and the chairman Bernard Guasch for the faith they have in me.”

Catalans coach Steve McNamara added: “We are pleased Alrix has committed himself to the Dragons and look forward to seeing his game progress over the next two seasons.”
