Annakin commits to Wildcats

Wakefield have announced that loose forward Chris Annakin has signed a new 2 year deal with the Club.

The 20-year-old has pledged his signature to the Wildcats in a contract that will see him play in the red, white and blue until the end of 2013.Chris spent his amateur years at Shaw Cross Sharks and then joined the Wildcats scholarship scheme.

Chris then progressed through The Wildcats Academy and was awarded the Man of The Match in the Under 18′s Grand Final.Annakin has represented Yorkshire and has now signed full time first team with The Wildcats.

Chris has been training with the First Team for the majority of the year and has already been named in the 19 man squad on a number of occasions.

Chris is delighted to have secured his future here at The Wildcats, “I’m really pleased that I have signed a further two years here at Wakefield. After spending so much time in the academy I just couldn’t see myself at any other club.”
