Ashley Gibson extends contract at Salford City Reds

Ashley Gibson has signed a new contract to stay at Salford until the end of 2013.

Gibson has joined his wing partner Danny Williams in staying at the Salford City Stadium. With Gibson’s future secure for the following season, Phil Veivers can concentrate on reaching the top eight play offs.

Director of football Steve Simms said: “Ashley has been a great servant of the Club over the past couple of seasons, he’s a dangerous centre and we are very pleased he shares the coaching staff and Directors’ vision for where we want to take the Club.”
