Aston hints at additions for Eagles

Sheffield Eagles coach Mark Aston looks set to recruit more players to his club this week.

Hooker Blake South has recently returned home to Australia having not played a game for the South Yorkshire club.

But Aston, whose team narrowly beat Workington in Cumbria at the weekend, could have reinforcements coming into his squad very soon.

“Hopefully this week we will be able to add to the squad,” Aston told the Sheffield Star.

“We are definitely close, a deal is set to be cemented with a player who can really add something to us.”
