Alex joined the Love Rugby League team after 38 years in newspapers, including 25 at the Daily Mirror as rugby, athletics and Olympics correspondent. International events Alex has covered across his career include nine Rugby World Cups, five British and Irish Lions tours, six Ryder Cups, five Olympics and four Commonwealth Games.
