Batley and Dewsbury Moor unveil special shirt in memory of Archie Bruce
Batley and Dewsbury Moor have released the ACB9 shirt, with all profits going to the Rugby Football League Benevolent Fund.
The 20-year-old tragically passed away just hours after making his debut for the Bulldogs in the 46-0 defeat by Toulouse in France.
Bruce was found in his hotel bedroom early Sunday morning, with the RFL Benevolent Fund supporting his family at this difficult time.
A JustGiving page has been set up by the RFL Benevolent Fund in memory of Bruce, which has already raised almost £5,000 in donations. To donate, click here.
And as part of the RFL Benevolent Fund, Championship club Batley and amateur side Dewsbury Moor have teamed up to maker a special shirt in recognition of Bruce’s life.
The half and half jersey is priced at £25, with all profits going towards the Benevolent Fund.
Toulouse have also confirmed that out of respect for the Bruce family, the club will not publish any video footage from the game.
