Beattie ready for interest in young stars

Leigh Beattie is anticipating interest from Super League in some of Bradford Bulls’ rising stars.

James Bentley, Ethan Ryan and Ross Oakes were all on the scoresheet in Sunday’s 44-22 win against Batley and Beattie expects clubs higher up the scale will soon come calling.

“I’m sure there is interest – you’d hope so,” he told the Telegraph and Argus.

“There are a few – James Bentley, Ross Oakes has come on immensely in the last few months and definitely Ethan.

“Bentley had a great dig (on Sunday) and Ethan scored that superb try – it was NRL stuff.

“It was unbelievable how he did it. But fair play to him, he’s developing week in, week out.”
