Bird takes aim at Titans

Catalans signing Greg Bird claims he was “pushed out the door” by his former club Gold Coast.

Bird has left the Titans to join the Dragons on a long-term deal.

The forward spent seven years with the Gold Coast and made 129 appearances.

But he is unhappy about his departure from the NRL club.

“I’m disappointed that like other people at the club I got pushed out the door,” Bird told reporters.

“But I am a Titans fan.

“It was disappointing the way it happened sort of behind the shadows.”
