Black and Whites drop Tansey again

Hull FC full back Jordan Tansey did not feature in the pre-season friendly with Castleford for disciplinary reasons.

The 24-year-old was dropped for yesterday’s 22-20 victory and the incident will raise doubts over his long-term future at the KC Stadium.

Tansey missed two games last season following breaches of the club’s code of conduct and head coach Richard Agar admits that the player needs to make changes if he wants to remain in Super League

“Jordan was left out for disciplinary reasons and it is not for the first time,” he told the Hull Daily Mail.

“We will deal with it in-house and let everyone know what is going on with that when the time is right. Obviously there are some adjustments Jordan needs to make if he wants to be a professional rugby league player.

“I’m disappointed at having to make these late changes, but Jordan has let us down. In terms of playing in this game, we felt he lost his opportunity to play because of that. When people make mistakes we want them to learn their lessons.”
