Hull FC have continued their perfect start to the season with an impressive 38-10 victory over Catalans in France.

It was another great display from the Airlie Birds who are setting a marker down early in the year.

Hull FC raced to a 22-10 half-time lead after scoring four tries. Fetuli Talanoa opened the scoring with the first touchdown of the match.

Pat Richards responded with a double for the Dragons in the first 40 minutes.

In the second half Hull FC went a man down but were still the better of the two sides. Their defence was strong while Catalans contined to rack up mistakes.

In the 51st minute Leon Pryce was sin-binned for tackling a support runner without the ball. But it didn’t slow

Gareth Ellis celebrated in his first game back from injury with a try off a Marc Sneyd grubber.

The next try came from Talanoa who finished off a nice move. Jamie Shaul rubbed salt in the woods with a try in the 67th minute.

It was a terrible night for Catalans on their home turf, who are yet to record a win after two rounds.
