Bradford suffer Jordan Lilley blow
Jordan Lilley will miss the next eight weeks of action after suffering a PCL injury, the club has confirmed.
Bradford began their 2022 preparations at home to Batley in a pre-season friendly, falling to a 28-22 defeat at Odsal.
During the post-match press conference, head coach John Kear confirmed the news regarding one of his star players.
Lilley picked up the injury in training during the week.
The half-back shared on social media: “Not an ideal start to 2022 but I’ll be working hard to get back ASAP.”

Bradford Bulls 2022 squad
Lilley received the number seven shirt for the 2022 season, while new signing Dec Patton will wear shirt number six.
Patton made the move during the off-season from Salford, and kicked his first points for the Championship club in their friendly with Batley.
Elliot Kear will wear shirt number one in 2022 for the Bulls. New signing Kieran Gill will wear shirt number four, with winger Ryan Millar partnering him out-wide with number five.
Sam Scott, who scored the first try for Bradford against Batley, has received shirt number 12 following his arrival from York.
Elsewhere in the Championship
Barrow have announced the signing of forward Ethan Kelly for the 2022 Championship season. The powerful prop makes the move from Whitehaven, having signed with the Championship club in 2019. The Millon amateur has recently linked up with the Raiders squad in pre-season, and has impressed head coach Paul Crarey.
