Burns dreaming of Wembley with Saints
St Helens stand-off Travis Burns has revealed that playing in a Challenge Cup final at Wembley remains an ambition of his.
The Saints welcome Widnes to Langtree Park for a quarter-final tie this Sunday, and Burns is keen to reach Wembley and receive a winner’s medal.
“I’ve love to play in a Challenge Cup Final,” he told his club’s official website.
“It’s something that I’m always looking at, I’ve had a long career in the NRL, I’ve been over here a few years now too and haven’t made it very far in the Challenge Cup, so that’s something I’m looking forward to, something to cherish.
“We’ve got new players at the club, but the players who have been around for a while and who have won it speak highly of the Challenge Cup and I’d love to add my name to the list of winners.”
