Castleford top Super League social media table
Castleford have come out on top of Super League in the annual Sport Social Media Index.
The index is an annual league table of all 148 British professional football, rugby and cricket teams, ranked according to the best use of social media by their official club channels.
Overall, Castleford ranked 6th in the index, making them the highest ranked non-football club.
The report stated: “Judges praised the use of community generated content (particularly through Twitter) and the club’s significant audience growth over the course of the year.
