Catalan handed fine for complaints
Catalan have been fined following complaints they made about being treated unfairly in comparison to other clubs.
They were found in breach of RFL Operational Rules by “questioning the integrity of the sport’s disciplinary process” following the suspension of Zeb Taia for three matches for a reckless shoulder charge in a match against St Helens in August.
The Dragons posted videos with the claims, and were found guilty of improper conduct.
Club chairman Bernard Guasch and coach Laurent Frayssinous have also been fined £500 each, £250 of which is suspended until the end of the 2014 season, for publicly questioning the integrity of the disciplinary process following the suspension of Taia.
