Three Challenge Cup fourth round ties will be shown live on BBC Sport, Premier Sports and The Sportsman, the Rugby Football League has confirmed.

BBC Sport will continue their round-by-round coverage on Sunday, February 27 (1pm). They will show the Royal Navy’s first appearance at this stage of the competition as they travel to Batley. The Bulldogs were the first-ever winners of the Challenge Cup 125 years ago.

Then at 3pm, The Sportsman will show the all-Championship tie between York and Newcastle at the LNER Community Stadium.

Leigh’s home clash with Widnes will be shown on Premier Sports on Monday, February 28 (7:45pm). Leigh have won the Challenge Cup on each of their two appearances in the final – 1921 and 1971. Widnes have won the Cup seven times in 13 final appearances. Four of the wins came from seven finals inside a decade between 1975-84. Their most recent final came in 1993, when they were defeated by Wigan.

The fifth round of the tournament will be played on the weekend of March 12-13. There will be eight ties in the sixth round, where Super League clubs will enter. Newly-promoted Toulouse Olympique have opted not to play in the competition this year.

The final will be played at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on May 28.
