Challenge Cup second round games chosen for live streaming
The West Yorkshire derby between Milford ARLFC and Lock Lane ARLFC in the second round of the Coral Challenge Cup has been selected to be live streamed by BBC Sport (Saturday, February 9 – KO 2.00pm).
In Round One of Rugby League’s most historic and prestigious competition, Milford kept a clean sheet away at Bradford Dudley Hill to progress and Lock Lane defeated Longhorns, the Irish representatives in the Challenge Cup.
Milford, who memorably pushed Championship side Barrow Raiders close in Round Three in 2014, will be looking to progress once again to the third round when they come head-to-head with Lock Lane. In 2018, Milford were defeated by the British Army in Round One and Lock Lane reached the second round of the competition with a victory against Hindley before being knocked out by Cumbrian side Distington in Round Two.
Over 30,000 viewers watched the first round live streamed game between Millom and Red Star Belgrade on BBC Sport.
Supporters will also be able to tune into another Coral Challenge Cup second round game streamed live on the Our League app and website.
Wigan St Patricks, who hosted the second-round draw on Monday evening, will welcome Great Britain Police to Clarington Park on Sunday, February 10 (KO 2.30pm).
St Pats overcame local rivals Leigh East to secure a place in the second round whereas the Great Britain Police defeated Wallsend Eagles.
All clubs playing in Round Two of the Coral Challenge Cup will be hoping to progress to the third round with the potential of facing Betfred League 1 opposition.
