Champ & L1: Saints youngster joins Crusaders, Hunslet land Jamaica international

Newcastle have re-signed prop Liam McAvoy for the 2021 season. The Cumbrian returns to Thunder after spending a year experience life in Australia and joins Bob Beswick, Matty Wright and Lewis Young as confirmed members of Newcastle’s 2021 squad.
Hunslet have signed Jamaica international Aaron Jones-Bishop ahead of next season. The 30-year-old has signed a one-year deal with the Parksiders after having fully recovered from a knee injury he sustained while playing for Oldham.
North Wales Crusaders have signed St Helens youngster Callum Hazzard on a permanent basis. The 21-year-old spent the 2019 season on loan at the Welsh outfit, making 18 appearances for the club and made his Super League debut for Saints later that season.

Keighley have confirmed that Matthew Bailey has agreed a new one-year deal with the club. Bailey will enter his ninth season with the Cougars in 2021, having played 125 games for the club so far.
