Champions Hunslet retain six more
Championship 1 winners Hunslet have signed up another six of their current squad for their debut season in the Championship next year.
Stand-off Danny Grimshaw, back John Oakes and forwards Scott Woodcock, Rob Kelly, Joe Helme and Richard Chapman have all signed for 2011.
Director of Rugby Darren Williams said: “We’re thrilled that all six have agreed to extend their contracts for a further 12 months, they all played huge parts in our Championship 1 winning campaign and we believe this extension is a reward for their efforts throughout 2010.”
Player coach Paul March and his brother David have already committed to the club for next season after a successful 2010.
However, the Hawks have revealed that they are to reluctantly drop the running of a reserve team as a cost cutting measure.
