Championship 1 Preview: Doncaster

After enduring a torrid time in 2009,head coach Tony Miller’s aim for the Championship 1 season will be to remain competitive on the pitch.

The club as a whole will be looking to get its house in order off the field this year so a title challenge may be a couple of years away yet.

Craig Lawton has been brought in from Oldham, along with Craig Fawcett from Hunslet and Grant Edwards from Sheffield. All three have Championship experience and, in David Bates, the Dons have a man well capable of organising things and leading from the front.

2010 will be a season of consolidation for the Dons but supporters can look forward to their side upsetting a few of the title pretenders at the Keepmoat
