Halifax booked their place in the Qualifiers after securing victory over Hull KR on Sunday.
Ben Johnston’s sixth minute converted try put them 6-0 up, before Rovers struck back on 20 minutes through Kieren Moss.
Fax quickly regained control with tries by Ben Heaton, Will Sharp and Mikey Sio putting them 24-6 up at half-time.
Steve Tyrer kicked two penalties after the break to seal a top four spot for Halifax.

The result means Toulouse miss out on the Qualifiers despite their 32-26 victory over Featherstone.

London Broncos recorded a comfortable 58-4 win over Batley – Elliot Kear scored a hat-trick, Apirana Pewhairangi (2), Rhys Williams (2), Michael Channing, Vitale Roqice and Matt Davis also crossed for the Broncos.
